Funding

IFP Media Arts administers four programs that provide funding and resources to artists in Minnesota. The IFP Minnesota funding programs are:

• The McKnight Artist Fellowships for Screenwriters
• The McKnight Artist Fellowships for Filmmakers
• The Fresh Filmmakers Production Grant
• MNTV Short Film Showcase

Between these four programs IFP Minnesota provides more than $125,000 in cash and resources to media artists annually. Additionally, these programs support artists in all phases of their career by helping them connect to the broader filmmaking and photography industries and by creating audiences and exposure for their work. Funding programs at IFP Minnesota seek to effect growth in the media arts community through challenging emerging, mid-career, and advanced artists to explore creatively and to better their craft.
