IFP is ready to support you in your journey as a filmmaker, whether you are a beginner or a pro. Our services for both narrative and documentary filmmakers include:

• Classes covering all areas of creating film and digital video, including cinematography, editing, screenwriting, audio, special effects and the skills of the producer.
  
• Access for members to our editing suite and a range of equipment at affordable prices, from HD cameras to audio, lighting and grip equipment. 
  
• Access for members to consultants, with expertise including screenwriting, production, budgeting, fundraising and technical issues.
• Conferences and professional development workshops with some of the most skilled filmmakers and film businesspeople in Minnesota and the US.
• Access to funding for mid-career artists through the McKnight Screenwriting and Filmmaking Grants and for emerging artists through the Fresh Filmmaker Production Grant.
• Opportunities for exhibition at our monthly Cinema Lounge at the Bryant-Lake Bowl and on statewide public TV as part of MNTV.
