Volunteering and Internships

IFP MN's annual operations are made possible by numerous hours of volunteer time. Volunteers are important! Their assistance in our offices and at our events are invaluable to IFP's regular staff. Volunteers are rewarded by accumulating hours which translate into equipment and facility discounts:

20-50 hours = 30% discount
51-100 hours = 40% discount
100+ hours = 50% discount

Volunteer discounts go into effect after your first 20 hours. In order to remain active in the program you must maintain a minimum of 20 hours every three months. All volunteers must commit to a three-month minimum tenure. Volunteers must be current members of IFP Media Arts.  Internships are available for full-time students, who earn a membership at the end of their term.

Volunteers also receive a 40% tuition discount on classes and workshops!

Volunteering at IFP MN also enables the emerging media artist to establish networking connections and is a great way for media pros to share their experience. Download a Volunteer Application and a copy of our Volunteer Policies.
